Busan Tower

Busan Tower is located in Yongdusan Park and offers a 360 degree view of the Busan skyline. We actually took the trip to Nampo to visit the number 1 Thai restaurant in Busan (which was delicious!!) and found we were closer to the tower than we thought.

Getting to the tower is actually very easy and if you walk along the main shopping street you will actually find escalators taking you right up to the top of the hill. You can walk however it is much easier to take the 5 escalators! As we were going for dinner it was later on in the afternoon and actually meant we caught the sunset whilst at the top which made for awesome views! It is 120m high with a sky lounge at the top where you can grab a coffee.

As you reach the base of the tower you come across the ‘love parks’ where couples go to put locks on the fencing to ensure their love lasts forever. It is also a popular first date location and a place where people go to get engaged! We didn’t know this was here (nor did we even plan on going up the Busan tower) so we didn’t put our locks up, especially as we were heading to Seoul  the next day where we were going up the Seoul tower which also had a much bigger love park. However whilst there we got our pictures taken on the ‘love seat’ how romantic!! Ha!

To go up in the tower is only 4,000₩ and the views are beautiful from the top! If you are in Nampo then defiantly head up the tower for a look!

After spending some time at the top we headed back down and into one of the Lotte department stores only to find a petting store on the roof! We found it quite funny especially as we were looking for Zara! What made it even stranger was beside the petting zoo was an area where people can camp for the night… on top of a department store!! Turned out as a nice wee detour when we were originally just heading for dinner!
